On September 13, 2017, at 12:05 pm, the victim, a 25 year-old male, was inside a 7-Eleven store located at 1500 John F Kennedy Boulevard and when leaving the store an unknown black female accused the him of bumping into her. After having an argument with the unknown female and leaving the store the unknown female called over a group of unknown black males who began to punch and kick the victim knocking him to the ground. After the assault the victim chased the the unknown males when one of the males dropped the victim's cell that was taken during the assault. After retrieving his iPhone, the suspects fled and were last seen west bound on John F Kennedy Boulevard. The complainant received scrapes on his knees and elbows as a result of this incident.
